By booking a climbing experience with Ascent Climbing Company, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Payment
- A 50% deposit is required at time of booking
- Remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to your scheduled trip
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe
- Prices are per person and include all technical gear
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your trip for a full refund
- Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the deposit
- Weather cancellations initiated by us result in full refund or rescheduling at no charge
- We monitor weather conditions and will notify you 24 hours in advance when possible
Liability Waiver
All participants must sign a liability waiver before climbing. You will receive this via email after booking. Rock climbing is an inherently dangerous activity with risks including but not limited to serious injury or death. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to hold Ascent Climbing Company, its guides, and affiliates harmless from any claims arising from your participation.
Age Requirements
- Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver
- Our Family Adventure Package is designed for children age 4 and up
- We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine conditions are unsafe for minors
Health & Fitness
Participants should be in reasonable health. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, please disclose them when booking. Pregnant women should consult their healthcare provider before participating. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine a participant's health or fitness poses a safety risk.
Guide Discretion
Our guides have final authority on all safety decisions including route selection, weather assessments, and whether to continue or terminate a trip. These decisions are made in the interest of participant safety and are non-negotiable.
Equipment
All technical climbing equipment is provided and included in the price. Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, water, snacks, and personal items. We reserve the right to refuse use of personal gear that does not meet safety standards.
Code of Conduct
We maintain a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to terminate services without refund for violations of our code of conduct.
